Greenfields Fam Wish lists 2024 | Ed

Hello. Happy holidays and thanks for visiting my 2024 wish list.

I've put this together quickly to hopefully help everyone navigate the overwhelming chaos and endless decisions of trying to shop for everyone while remaining both sane and solvent.

Wish List

  • nothing

That's it, please don't worry about getting me anything. I have more than enough stuff. I like stuff as much as anybody, but I have plenty and there's nothing I need or want that I wouldn't have already bought for myself with Becky's money.

The amount of time that we all spend each year trying to think gifts for people is entirely consuming and if there's one thing we can all agree on; no one has enough time for all that.

Alternate List

Here's an alternate list of things I'd like this year:

1. TIME.

Spend some of your fleeting time, intentionally, on something other than choosing me a new wood flavoured beard oil or trying to figure out which exact chisel or widget you're supposed to get.

Spend some time on anything that's fun for you and tell me what you did with it. Watch a sunset, disassociate quietly in the kitchen or just scroll Netflix for a couple of hours without watching anything at all.

2. MONEY

If giving nothing is unthinkable, or you think I'm being an unusually insufferable prick this year, here's a list of folks doing good things that you can give money to instead of wasting it on me.

3. BOOKS

If you really want to get me something to unwrap so that I'm not sat there with nothing to open, please buy me a copy of *your* favourite book and write down why you think it's great on front pages.

For those of you with a single digit reading age1, pop-up books, comics or Johnny Yellow Hat are all perfectly ok. No judgement or literary gate keeping here.

4. SOCKS

I like socks.

Thanks for reading. Peace, Ed.
